Marketplace Fun Finds Grab Bag

Ah, the lure of the grab bag- I've never been able to resist. As a kid, I could never pass one up. I've always loved the possibilities, the idea that a treasure might be hiding somewhere.

In Downtown Disney's Marketplace Fun Finds- a shop with affordable souvenirs- you'll find a grab bag rack to tempt you. Bags are $11.99. I was dying to know what was inside.

At $12, how could I go wrong? It's all in the name of research, right?

My grab bag consisted of two mini vinylmation key chains, a feathery princess pen, a Mickey magnet, a vinylmation-shaped sippy cup, and a sort-of Nemo/sort-of key chain thing. Original retail value of these totaled about $38.

Any vinylmation fans out there? These are a little bit cute, if you like this sort of thing.

Feathery princess pen- the top is on a spring, and the whole feather and gel portion on top bobbles around when you write. NO.

The best item in the bag- a two-piece Mickey magnet

Vinylmation-style sippy cup. Hard to fill, hard to use. Impossible to clean. Very thin plastic.

Nemo-esque. Key chain-esque. What even are you, little Nemo thing?

So there we have it. I really do like the magnet, and I know I can find a friend who'll appreciate the mini vinylmation key chains.  Have you ever given in to the temptation of the grab bag? Did you uncover any treasures? Tell us about it in the comments...
